TAMPA, FL  – As uncrewed systems accelerate the pace of modern conflict, special operations forces require counter-UAS capabilities that improve situational awareness at the tactical edge. Rapidly evolving UAS threats are compressing decision timelines, compromising concealment, and increasing risk to small units and forward operating sites. Hidden Level will highlight its advanced passive radar and counter-UAS sensing capabilities at SOF Week 2026, demonstrating how its low-signature, integration-ready technology enhances situational awareness, force protection, and decision advantage for Special Operations Forces operating in contested environments.

Hidden Level’s sensing platform delivers persistent awareness of low-altitude airspace activity through passive radar, RF detection, and direction-finding. The system enables operators to detect cooperative and uncooperative drones and identify operator locations without emitting signals that could compromise force signature. Designed for vehicle-mounted and fixed-site use, the system delivers persistent coverage for forward operating sites and maneuver elements, even in low-bandwidth environments. Its open, non-proprietary architecture enables seamless integration with existing SOF systems and secure information sharing with allies, partners, and interagency organizations.

“SOCOM operators are facing a rapidly evolving UAS threat environment where low-cost drones can disrupt missions and put personnel at risk in seconds,” said Brad Garber, COO of Hidden Level. “For SOF teams operating in contested environments, early threat detection without compromising position is essential to mission success. Our passive RF sensing platform enables operators to detect and track UAS threats without emitting, helping protect personnel, preserving freedom of maneuver and enabling mission success. SOF Week is an important opportunity to engage directly with the special operations community and demonstrate how scalable, integration-ready sensing can strengthen force protection and support mission execution in the most demanding environments.”

At SOF Week, Hidden Level will feature two Surge passive RF sensors and live Airspace Monitoring Service (AMS) streaming across multiple partner platforms, underscoring the company’s role in enabling a layered, interoperable approach to counter-UAS sensing. AMS detection data will be displayed live through multiple command and control platforms including RAIN, Lattice, Sit(x), and TAK—demonstrating how passive RF sensing reduces cognitive load, accelerates operator understanding, and enhances mission assurance at the tactical edge. Hidden Level’s technology has been field-tested across demanding operational environments, including deployment as a primary detection layer for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC).  In those environments, the system delivered reliable detection of Group I UAS and larger aerial and surface targets without compromising force signature.

Hidden Level’s presence at SOF Week reflects its growing role in supporting distributed and multi-domain SOF operations through scalable, integration-ready RF sensing and intelligence. The company continues to partner closely with industry leaders to bring advanced sensing capabilities to the platforms shaping the future of SOF mission execution.
